Richland Learning Garden-Year Round
Parents are needed to work in our wonderful garden with the children, planting, maintaining and harvesting fruits and vegetables as well as mowing, trimming and maintaining the garden.

Back To School Picnic (Sept. 25, 12pm-3pm)

A great way to see familiar faces and welcome new parents and families to the school.  We need someone to help plan the menu and activities for the school picnic.

Back To School Night (October  5)

We offer food for sale at Back-To-School Night.  We need parents to help sale and serve food.  As a volunteer, you will have time to go visit your child’s classroom, so don’t worry about missing anything.

Halloween Carnival (October 30, 12PM-3PM) and Haunted House (October 29-31, evenings)

One of Richland’s most popular and safest Halloween programs in our neighborhood, we need volunteers to

1. Help coordinate the event or even take charge of one of the booths. 
2. Volunteer to cover shifts at the booths.  

Winter Program Bake Sale (Dec. 17, 8-10AM)

1. Coordinate donations
2. help sell treats and drinks before the program

International Festival and Silent Auction

This event is one of our biggest fundraisers.  It’s an opportunity to come and bid on lots of fun items (spa packages, sports packages and family fun places to just name a few).  It’s an event that takes a lot of pre-planning, so we hope you can help: 

1. Help plan the entertainment and activities for the Event
2. Assist with collecting Silent Auction Items
3. Assist during the festival with various activities

A very important week for the parents to thank the teachers and staff for all their hard work throughout the year.  We host a lunch for the school staff.

Spring Open House (April 12)

A time for your child to show you what they’ve been working on all year.  Similar to the Open House held in the Fall, we need parents to help with the food sale.

Scholastic Book Fair (April 11-15)

Scheduled around the Open House, the Scholastic Bookfair is an event that all the students look forward to.  Who doesn’t like a new book?
